January 1962 The objective of this meeting is to place the Union in the field of the practical and concrete realisations. The assembly decides that each city will appoint a headman informed of public relations, so that a relay for the problems of the secretariat can be constituted. These headmen will form the technical committee The principal items of the meeting are dedicated to the establishment of a future action programme. Communication was made of the report established by the city of Paris concerning its administrative status. A comparative study on the aspect of the problems brought up concerning the District was decided to be subscribed to the working programme of the technical committee. Reports are also presented concerning the financial status of the city of Paris and the general problems of public transport in this capital, base of a large exchange of sights. This sitting is completed by technical visits to the prefecture, the Parisian police department, the technical management of the Métropolitain subway station and the security service of the French capital.
